Love u Sreesanth

It was me in my Study room :P. After reading all those stories and facts about that "hot cricketer" who was accused of spot fixing, I was ready to write my own piece .
I read a lot that day about him that I was so much inspired to write about him. I was raring to go. I, with a bullet's speed typed "blooger.com" in my address bar. I was raring, raring, raring. But I was paused when i was asked to login . "A serious speed breaker "

 A may's thursday 2013.
I was at my home at Kanchipuram when I saw the headline buzzing.
"Sreesanth and two others arrested for spot-fixing". I  negated that TELL COMMAND to my brain.(Tell- command :used to add info to a database of an artificial intelligence machine )
Oh !! Only fans of him would have known how terrible that news was. Yes Iwas and to be precise I am a fan of Sreesanth.

"Those  wrists that once swung the ball beautifully  will now be signing police papers ".This would beautifully describe his situation.
From Kerala, which is not known to be the powerhouse of cricket, came this man to take a place in that famous Indian 11. He had one of the fastest growth in the domestic league and made it into the national squad. An Inspiration for many in kerala became he.

Not many would have known that he ripped apart KP and Strauss making his debut for India against England in that test.In Antigua ,in June 2006 he fired out Ramnaresh Sarwan and Brian Lara (for 0) in successive overs, and then took five wickets in Jamaica and played a key role in bowling India to a historic triumph.

I drew up these facts to give a prelude to my following statement.
The batsmen feared not  his cricket balls, but  his taunts when that ball picks him a wicket.
That was his aggression. That taunt when did to women is uglyism. But I found nothing wrong when he did that to his fellow men on a cricket ground. He was known more for his aggression on the field.

Many people dont watch  a team when it fields. But there are some men ,who make watch their bowling ,making u expect wickets. In my view Sree was one among them.
In cricket u call some bowlers ,strike bowlers. And again  sree was one among them.
He either does this or gives away heaps of runs. So he never lets your match-watch go boring.

He was termed a run leaker in odi cricket , but he was more of an aggressive strike bowler. (stats-econ 6.07).
When this guy is in form , The ball goes for a swing.
Yes i loved the way he swung the ball. The  way it teased a batsman's bat , like how a bypassing beatiful girl's look teases you.
I could still remember the ripper that Boucher got from Sree, the way that ball teased his bat .Loads of  instances where he did magic with his ball  would justify my comparison.
There might be ,or, to put it this way, there are better bowlers than him in the circuit. But that tinge of aggression + good bowling made me become his fan. Maybe many others would have fallen for him.
He came back from a serious injury and still churned up speeds of 140+.
We all became fans of him when he took that historic catch that sealed us the first ever T20 world cup. What scenes were they. Instant fan-making scenes.

Did he do it?
With a series of flashbacks of his high points, One would find it superlatively tough to imagine that,   such a positive and vibrant bowler has involved in spoot fixing. I was really quizzed. Y would he do it? Had he done it? Looking at his passion aggression its hard to think of Sree doing such things.

Who was S.Sreesanth?(the following are datum the my mind perceieved)
India's ONLY Test win in SA won by unique Sreesanth...& what he got that day..... at post-match conference captain  criticizing his aggressive attitude...the moment I heard Dravid's comments...two things instinctively came to my mind... 1- we have lost a pristine unadulterated talent..... instead of encouraging his heroics on fields & also against Andre Nel... here is his captain admonishing Sreesanth in full public.
He once said to a tour reporter , that he had no support or even no one to talk to, in the dressing room . He was constantly sidelined for his so called ugly-aggression .He became a lonely living being in his dressing room. Then why on earth was yuvi and bhajji tolerated. The difference   lay in the way their captains handled them.
I beleive that he wasn't give the good bread when he worked good. It's a hard situation to be in.
When you don't get the right motivation or backup when you do good , u really feel dejected.

"Nobody in the team likes me, I have no godfathers to back me", said he to a reporter and that statement of his says it all.

I love Sreesanth :
A student always loves his good teacher. He taught me why one shouldn't give up and why one shouldn't tread a wrong path. My teacher was my example!!
Obviously I am a fan of my good teacher who was made a bad cric  and was proven so. :(
